Meenakshi Mukerji is the author of Marvelous Modular Origami. At this workshop for adults and teens, you will learn how to create a three-dimensional geometric shape using only one folding pattern. Examples may be seen at www.origamee.net. Meenakshi Mukerji received the 2005 Florence Temko Award to Origami USA for her contributions to origami. Award-winning author and poet Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni has been published in over 50 magazines including The Atlantic Monthly and The New Yorker. She visited the Sunnyvale Public Library to discuss her life and writing including her new book, The Palace of Illusions. Her books have been translated into 16 languages, including Dutch, Hebrew, Russian, and Japanese. Two of her books have been made into movies.
