Award-winning author and poet Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni has been published in over 50 magazines including The Atlantic Monthly and The New Yorker. She visited the Sunnyvale Public Library to discuss her life and writing including her new book, The Palace of Illusions. Her books have been translated into 16 languages, including Dutch, Hebrew, Russian, and Japanese. Two of her books have been made into movies.
